Have your say about Policing

West Mercia Police Authority is urging the public to say what they value most from their police force and to give their views and suggestions on spending reductions. Details and further information can be found on the Police Authority’s website www.westmerciapoliceauthority.gov.uk.

West Mercia Police Authority Chairman, Shelia Blagg, explained: “Difficult choices will need to be made if we are to achieve the level of savings requires of us over the next four years, without reducing the effectiveness of our police services. In choosing areas for reductions and those to be protected, the views of our communities matter. We need to know what the public value most and would very much like to hear their views and suggestions. We hope that, by providing information in a variety of formats we are making it easier for as many people as possible to become involved in setting policing priorities. “
