Programme Leadership Appointed For Strategic Alliance

Warwickshire and West Mercia Police have appointed a Programme Director and a Business Change Manager to lead the future delivery of the Strategic Alliance Programme.

Following a competitive selection process, Chief Superintendent Mark Turner (West Mercia) has been seconded as Programme Director and Paul Mason-Brown, (Warwickshire), as Business Change Manager.

A process to select individuals for other roles within the Strategic Alliance Programme Team will now begin. The programme will be governed by a joint Chief Officer and Police Authority team and be responsible for managing existing change programmes in both forces, (150plus and Planning for the Future), together with new alliance work.

The Programme Director is responsible for leading and managing the setting up of the Strategic Alliance programme through to the delivery of the new capabilities and the realisation of benefits.

The Business Change Manager is responsible for the creation of the new business structures, operations and working practices of the Strategic Alliance, as well as the monitoring of performance and the assessment of the impact of the change programme.

The above secondments start with immediate effect, initially for 12 months.
