Policing Matters Meetings in South Worcestershire
There are three Policing Matters Groups in South Worcestershire covering Malvern Hills District, Worcester City and Wychavon District. They are run and chaired by independent local people, supported by West Mercia Police Authority and West Mercia Constabulary.
They hold public meetings branded "Policing Matters" to provide the opportunity for the public to find out more about how West Mercia, South Worcestershire and in particular the Districts they live in are policed and how the police are performing, ask questions and make suggestions to improve policing in South Worcestershire. Attendess will be able hear from South Worcestershire's Divisional Commander and members of his team, Local Police Officers, the Chair of the South Worcestershire Policing Board and other Police Authority Members local to South Worcestershire, Partner Agencies such as the Crown Prosecution Service and Community Safety Partnership. Attendees also have the opportunity to speak to these officers informally after the meeting.
Your next Policing Matters Meeting is on the 19th October 7.30 - 9.30 (7pm for coffee) at Abberley Village Hall (This meeting has been rearranged from 5 October 2011)
